Following an ongoing investigation by the Terrace General Investigation Services Unit, police executed a search warrant at a residence on Kenney Street around 8:30 a.m. Thursday. During the search, police located a rifle, stolen shotgun, several hundred rounds of ammunition, and an explosives detonator.
Two people were arrested during the search. Keith William Seymour, 35, of no fixed address in Terrace, was arrested for numerous outstanding warrants, including a Terrace warrant for kidnapping and extortion related to a March 16, 2018 incident. A woman was also arrested and released on scene.
With evidence obtained from the Kenney Street event, police obtained a search warrant for a second location, a room at a Terrace area hotel. There, police seized a street drug suspected to be GHB, several thousand dollars in cash, and a stolen .44 caliber handgun.
A woman was arrested and released on a Promise to Appear. Gilbert Joseph Leblanc, age 39 of Terrace BC, is charged with numerous firearms offences.
