Updated: Police Seeking More Information in Historical Homicide…

PRINCE GEORGE, BC: Investigators are looking for information from the public to help further a homicide investigation now more than ten years old.

On March 26th, 2007, the body of 44 year old Shawn Halikowski was found near Hofferkamp Road, just off Highway 97 in Prince George, BC. Shawn had not been seen since March 11th, 2007. Investigators do not believe that Shawn Halikowski passed away where he was found near Hofferkamp Road, but that he was transported there after his death.

The investigation into Shawn’s death has been thorough and extensive; however officers believe that there are persons that have information that could help solve this case. Shawn spent time with several people on March 11th and investigators believe that one or more of these people may have information about his death.

Shawn Halikowski’s was a well-loved and determined man. He put himself through university and obtained a Master’s Degree, got married and was a father to a beautiful baby girl.
