Several people arrested following Search Warrants in Prince George…

PRINCE GEORGE, BC: As part of an ongoing investigation, the Prince George RCMP’s Street Crew Unit conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle on Thursday March 8, 2018…

The 41 year-old male and 34 year-old male occupants of the vehicle were arrested for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance. Search of the vehicle found a significant amount of heroin and methamphetamine.

Investigators obtained and executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant on a residence on the 1300 block of Irwin Street in Prince George. Cocaine, methamphetamine, cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia were located and seized. Although charges have not yet been laid, this investigation is continuing.

This above investigation follows two other drug trafficking investigations that were conducted by the Street Crew Unit last month.

On Friday February 16, 2018, members of the Street Crew Unit with assistance from the Detachment’s General Duty Section, executed two Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants at two separate residences on the 2200 block of Spruce Street in Prince George.

A quantity of methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin was seized along with two firearms. Three males, ages 44, 45, & 51, and a female, age 42, were arrested. The investigation is continuing.

During the early morning hours of Saturday February 17, 2018, members of the Street Crew Unit with assistance from the Detachment’s General Duty Section, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on the 2600 block of Range Road in Prince George.

During the search, a quantity of fentanyl, cocaine and marihuana was seized along with drug trafficking paraphernalia. In addition, a loaded rifle, ammunition, cell phones, cash and several stolen items were located and seized. A 24 year-old male and a 44 year-old male were arrested at the scene. The investigation is continuing.
