PRINCE GEORGE, BC: The Prince George RCMP is sending out a warning to local businesses following a recent rash of counterfeit currency reported in the City…
Since January 1st, 2018, the Prince George RCMP has received seventeen reports from various businesses reporting counterfeit currency, particularly US $10, $20 & $50 bills. Some counterfeit Canadian currency has also been passed.
The Prince George RCMP would like to remind staff of retail businesses to carefully check cash as it is passed, especially larger bills.
