The Winter Storm Warning has finally come to end for the Prince George and Quesnel regions and now the big clean up begins…
Over 30 cm of snow fell over a two day period in Prince George, while rural areas saw a heck of a lot more than 30. Despite all that, motorists took the warnings seriously and for the most part stayed off the highways.
There are a few travel advisories for Hwy 16 due to limited visibility and are in effect from east and west of Prince George. Highway 97 will have compact snow and slippery sections so please drive carefully.
As for the weather itself, we can expect the sun to make an appearance for a few days. Temperatures will be on the chilly side, particularly today with windy conditions forecast.
