Male suspect breaks into ground floor apartment…

KAMLOOPS, BC: The Kamloops RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who broke into an apartment on Arrowstone Drive during the overnight…

Police say the incident occurred around 2:15 AM. The victim was in his bedroom on the ground level when someone broke the window and entered the room. 

An unknown male suspect had a knife and threatened the occupant if he didn’t hand over his valuables. The victim complied giving the suspect his laptop, a cell phone and a wallet. The victim was not injured.

Police attended the scene and attempted to track the suspect with the Police Dog Services, however, they were unsuccessful.

The suspect is described as:

  • dark skin
  • around 25 years old
  • 6 feet tall
  • thin build
  • He was wearing a black toque, black winter jacket with a fur-lined hood and carrying a black backpack. The knife used by the suspect is described a Bowie knife with a wooden handle.
