Update: As of Saturday January 6, the snow forecast has changed and snow accumulations will continue until at least Monday in the Prince George region. Drive safe!
The Environment Canada forecast is calling for some mixed precipitation beginning Friday and ending on Saturday.
The biggest issue could be freezing rain mixed with ice pellets forming late Friday afternoon and into the overnight. 2 to 4 cm of ice pellets/snow is possible. Temperatures will remain around minus 5 today and minus 2 on Saturday.
Roads and highways could become slick with black ice so be prepared to adjust to the conditions.
