QUESNEL, BC: Charges are pending following a Break and Enter in Quesnel on January 1…
Police say a business on Keis Ave was broken into and several items were taken including tools and electronics.
On January 3, the business owner contacted police to report information as to where a certain electronic device may be at.
Members of the Quesnel RCMP General Duty and Crime Reduction Units attended a residence in the 1700 block of Blackwater Road in relation to this investigation. When Police arrived, officers located a stolen trailer parked outside the home.
Officers entered the residence and located stolen property in plain view. Several occupants of the home were subsequently arrested for being in Possession of Stolen Property and brought back to Quesnel RCMP cells.
RCMP secured the scene and a search warrant was executed on the property where several items including the reported electronic device, several firearms and other stolen property were seized.
The investigation into this incident is still ongoing. Names will not be released until charges are approved.
