Ended. Snowfall Warning for the Pine Pass…

Pine Pass Saturday afternoon.

Update: Warning has ended. Please drive to winter conditions as blowing snow and icy sections are current conditions on local highways. As of Sunday Dec 17 at 7:27 AM. for the latest. 

Environment Canada has issued a Snowfall Warning for the Pine Pass beginning today and moving out Sunday… 

Snow has developed across the northern interior from the Bulkley Valley northwards to the Yukon Territory. The heaviest amounts will be over Williston, McGregor, and Pine Pass with 10 to 20 cm forecast by Sunday morning.


Pine Pass region Saturday afternoon. 

The front will continue to slide southwards later this afternoon and this evening and spread snow into the central interior. Yellowhead region will see snow develop this evening with up to 20 cm forecast by Sunday night.

For Prince George, our region can see up to 5 cm of snow tonight with a few more cm on Sunday. Temperatures are also expected to drop late this week to around minus 10 for a daytime high on Thursday.
