DAWSON CREEK, BC: The Dawson Creek RCMP has released details on a fatal accident that occurred Tuesday afternoon south of Dawson Creek on the Alaska Highway (Farmington area)…
Police say a Toyota Camry travelling north on the Alaska Highway lost control and was struck on the passenger side by a southbound gravel truck.
The driver and passenger of the Camry sustained injuries and were transported to hospital. The driver of the gravel truck was unhurt.
Later in the day RCMP learned the passenger of the Camry succumbed to his injuries and died in the hospital. The man’s family is being notified and no names are being released at this time.
The Dawson Creek RCMP is requesting anyone who witnessed the collision or may have any further information on the incident to please call Police at 250-784-3700.
