Update: Police continue to search for missing PG woman…

As of October 23, Jenny remains missing. Police have exhausted all efforts to locate Jenny. The search has now been called off.

PRINCE GEORGE, BC: Police are continuing the search for missing 61 year-old Jenny Lynn Larocque after her dog and vehicle were found near the Kamloops area… 

On Sunday October 15, 2017, the Prince George RCMP was notified that Jenny’s Great Dane/Brindle Mastiff dog was located in the Venables Valley area, south of Ashcroft, BC. The dog had suffered minor injuries, but was otherwise in good health.

On Monday October 16, 2017, an RCMP Air Services helicopter and a Police Dog Service Team attended the area and began a search with the assistance of the Kamloops Search & Rescue Society.  

Jenny LAROQUE’s vehicle, a dark blue 2014 Jeep Compass, was located later that day stuck on a rural road. Jenny was not located. The search continued for several more days without success.

Although the search was postponed today, it will resume tomorrow. The RCMP would like to thank the Kamloops Search & Rescue Society and their volunteers for assisting in the search.

LAROCQUE is described as:

  • Caucasian female
  • 5’3″
  • 100 lbs. 
  • Green eyes
  • Brown hair

 

At this point, investigators have no reason to believe that Jenny LAROCQUE has been the victim of foul play.
