WILLIAMS LAKE, BC: The Williams Lake RCMP say that charges have now been laid in connection with an ongoing investigation that began in April of this year… 

A search warrant was executed on a local business this past April after an extensive investigation that involved police officers from Williams Lake and members from the North District RCMP in Prince George.

Mark Louis COWAN, 35, has been charged with:

• Trafficking a Controlled substance
• Possession for the purpose of Trafficking

Christopher HOYLAND, 49, has been charged with:

• Possession for the purpose of Trafficking

Both men are scheduled to make their next court appearance in Williams Lake Provincial Court on October 11, 2017. 

“Williams Lake RCMP continue to target drug trafficking offences” said Inspector Jeff Pelley, OIC Williams Lake Detachment. “We take this very seriously and are committed to seeking evidence to support charges and hold people accountable who actively participate in these types of offences.”
