Police say at approximately 11:25 PM, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 2200 block of Oak Street in Prince George.
Police attended the area and found a 43 year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Section has been called in to assist with the investigation.
The investigation is in the early stages and the motive for the incident is not known at this time. It does not appear that the suspect(s) and victim knew each other.
