PRINCE GEORGE, BC: Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying the persons responsible for an attack that took place this past weekend…
On Friday August 11th, 2017 at approximately 8:15 PM, the Prince George RCMP responded to a report of an Assault with a Weapon on Queensway near Moyie Street in Prince George.
Police attended the area and found an adult male suffering what appeared to be a slash to the leg from an edged weapon. The male was transported to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Although still under investigation, the initial believe is that the victim and an adult female were walking in the area when they were confronted by another male and female. An argument ensued and the victim was injured by the male suspect. The motive for the incident is not known at this time and it does not appear that the suspects and victims knew each other. The suspects were not located.
The male suspect was described as:
- Caucasian
- Heavier build
- Below average height
- Short blonde hair and a beard
- Wearing all grey clothing
The female suspect was described as:
- Caucasian
- Heavier build
- Approximately 5’6″
- Dark sandy blonde hair
- Wearing black pants and a black shirt with blue writing
