PRINCE GEORGE, BC: Police and the Coroner continue to investigate following an overnight single vehicle collision that left one person dead…
Police say at approximately 2:40 AM Saturday, officers received a report of a possible rollover collision on Ness Lake road near the intersection with Swan Road, just outside Prince George city limits.
Emergency services including the RCMP attended the scene. A single vehicle was located off the roadway and a lone male was located nearby. First responders administered first aid, however the adult male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service was contacted and attended the scene. A Police Dog Service team also attended the scene to search the area for other possible casualties, however none were found.
A portion of the road had been closed to traffic while investigators reconstruct the scene in order to determine how the collision occurred.
Initial investigation indicates that alcohol was not a factor. More information will be provided when available.
