Suspect arrested in Break and Enter incidents in Fort St. John…

FORT ST. JOHN, BC: A suspect has been arrested in connection to two Break and Enter incidents which early Tuesday morning… 

Police say at approximately 5:20 AM, the Fort St. John RCMP responded to a report of multiple alarms that were triggered at the Totem Mall.

When Police arrived on scene, members determined a vehicle had driven into the mall doors and drove through the center of the mall causing a significant amount of damage. There were no reports of anything stolen from the mall.

Shortly after arriving at the Totem Mall, RCMP responded to another report of break and enter and theft at Hi-Performance Motorsports on 100th Ave. It was determined riding helmets were stolen from the store.

As a result of police efforts, investigators can confirm that a 17 year-old male was arrested for multiple counts of break and enter, theft under $5000 and mischief over $5000 in relation to both incidents, he is believed to be the driver of the pickup. Police believe there was one other suspect who was in the vehicle at the time of the offence.
