QUESNEL, BC: On Monday, July 4, several reports of damage and thefts from vehicles were reported to the Quesnel RCMP…
These incidents occurred in the areas of Reid Street, McNaughton Street, and McLean Street.
Police say seven vehicles and a home were spray painted, four vehicles were rummaged through, and one vehicle had some contents inside set on fire.
An abandoned car that was stolen out of Alberta was also recovered on McLean Street.
Later in the day while dealing with a complaint at 10 Mile Lake, RCMP located two male youths and it was determined that they were responsible for the damage to the vehicles and the stolen car from Alberta.
Police are recommending charges of Mischief, Theft Under $5000, and Possession of Stolen Property.
