A female was assaulted by an unknown male on the Riverfront between Ceal Tingley Park and the train bridge.

The male was riding a bike when he allegedly grabbed the female in an inappropriate manner.

The suspect, a 15 year old male from Quesnel, was taken into custody without incident.

The Quesnel RCMP is asking for the public’s help after a female was assaulted on the Riverfront Trail between Ceal Tingley Park and the train bridge on Sunday afternoon…

Police say at approximately 5:30 PM, a female was walking the trail when a male riding a bike allegedly grabbed the female in a sexual manner and fled.

The suspect is described as: 

  • Caucasian male
  • Between 16 and 20 years-old
  • short brown hair
  • medium build
  • wearing a blue tank top
  • white shorts
  • black shoes
  • and wearing a black backpack
