Truck thief caught in Mackenzie…

MACKENZIE, BC: Charges have been laid against a man believed responsible for the theft of a pickup truck in Prince George.

On the morning of May 29, 2016, Mackenzie RCMP attended to a report an abandoned pickup truck on Highway 39 south of Mackenzie. Officers attended and located a 2014 Ford F-150 truck that had been reported stolen from Prince George around midnight the previous night.

After conducting a search of the area, Mackenzie RCMP were able to locate and arrest two men in relation to the theft. One of the men was released without charges, while the other remains in custody awaiting an appearance in Court next week.

Ian Benjamin CLARK, age 30, is charged with Possession of Stolen Property over $5000, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
