Yukon woman dies in fatal crash near FSJ…

Fort St. John, BC: The North District RCMP has released some details on a fatal crash that claimed the life of a woman over the weekend…

On Saturday just after 10 pm, Fort St. John RCMP responded to a motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles, a camper van and a commercial vehicle, near Mile 54 of the AH.

Upon arrival, officers learned a southbound van collided head-on with a northbound commercial vehicle. The driver of the van, a 52 year-old female from the Yukon had died on scene. The driver of the commercial vehicle was not injured.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation, but officers believe road conditions may have been a contributing factor as it was snowing heavily all day Saturday.
