Update: Police are continuing to investigate this serious incident. The area remains cordoned off for the time being. No new information has been released at this time and the public is in no danger. Updated on March 8/2016

Prince George, BC: The Prince George RCMP is currently investigating a suspicious death of a woman late Saturday night…
Police were called to an address on the 1100 block of Alward Street in Prince George where an adult female was found in medical distress.
The female was transported to the University Hospital of Northern BC by the BC Ambulance Service and passed away a short time later.
The Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Section was called to investigate the incident. The investigation is in its beginning stages and once more information is released we’ll update.
