RCMP update on two PG incidents; Public’s help needed…

Prince George, BC: The local RCMP is asking for the public’s help with two cases… 

The first incident is the shooting and assault of a female in Moore’s Meadow Park.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen people or vehicles in the area of the two Moore’s Meadow parking lots off of Foothills Boulevard, between 3:30 AM and 5:00 AM on Monday, February 15th, to contact investigators at 250-561-3300.

Police are also requesting that anyone who was driving in the area with a dashcam during that time period to call investigators.

Just after 5:00 AM on Monday February 15th, 2016, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a female with serious injuries in the Moore’s Meadow area. An adult female victim was found a short time later off Foothills Boulevard.

Update: The man of interest has been spoken to by police. 

The second incident is regarding the robbery at the Shell Gas bar on 5th Ave and Tabor Blvd. 

Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying an adult male that investigators believe has information that could further the investigation into a recent robbery.

The robbery occurred at approximately 9:00 PM on Saturday, February 13th, 2016 at a gas station located on the 4200 block of 5th Avenue in Prince George, Shell Gas.

The male is described as:

  • Dark skinned
  • Curly, black hair
  • Moustache and trimmed beard
  • Stocky build
