Red Deer man faces charges in theft of pickup truck and trailers…
Fort St. John, BC: A Red Deer local is facing charges after stealing a trailer from Dawson Creek on Friday…
The Fort St. John RCMP was notifed of the incident from Dawson Creek about a stolen Ford F350 travelling northbound on the Alaska Highway.
RCMP attended to the area in Taylor locating the stolen vehicle northbound and attempted to pull it over. The driver failed to stop and fled.
Later in in the evening, officers were notified of another trailer being taken from a property in the North Pine area around Fort St. John, with the homeowners following from behind.
RCMP attended the scene with several units and made an arrest in the incident.
Justin David DUPERRON, a 29 year-old male from Red Deer, Alberta, is currently in custody awaiting his next court appearance on February 24, 2016.
DUPERRON is facing charges of:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- Theft Over $5000
- Flight from Police
- Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle while Impaired
- Possession of Break in Instruments and Mischief.
Both trailers and the Ford F350 were recovered by police. The F350 was stolen out of Alberta.
