Grande Prairie, AB: The Grande Prairie RCMP is investigating an incident where a man in a vehicle approached two youths on Monday… 

Police say the incident occurred near Alexander Forbes School around 8:30 AM.

A black truck with red writing on the side pulled up beside two girls as they walked to school. The lone male occupant offered the girls money to get into his vehicle. The girls declined and ran to the school.

The truck is described as:

• Black Ford truck
• No canopy
• Red writing on the side of the truck
• Silver rims

The driver is described as:

• Older male
• Caucasia
• Straight black hair
• Light/thin moustache
• Wearing a dark jacket

Investigators are working to locate the truck and identify the driver to investigate the incident further. 

RCMP urge parents and caretakers to educate their children to stay away from strangers and to report any suspicious activity to police immediately.
