Fort St. John, BC: The Fort St. John RCMP has released some details on a police incident in Taylor that occurred just before midnight on Sunday…
Police say at 11:40 pm, officers conducted a traffic stop on a white pickup truck in Taylor. Inside the vehicle was a lone female. Investigation lead to the discovery of the vehicle’s registered owner Kirk Morin, 51, deceased between Cherry Avenue and the Alaska Highway. The male was deceased when police arrived.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious between a male and female or anyone who saw a white Dodge dually pickup in Taylor, specifically around the arena and community centre, last night to please contact them.
Investigators also state a police officer spoke to a few people in Taylor earlier in the evening. The RCMP would very much like to speak to these people again regarding this incident and request that they call the detachment at 250-787-8100.
The Fort St. John General Investigation Section, Forensic Identification Section, General Duty members and Prince George Major Crime Unit are all actively investigating this death.
